What Does Covid-19 and 2021 Wedding Means

Just like everyone else, this is a looming question in every couple’s minds.  Certainly, the look and feel is different.  With the uncertainty, bride.com had discussions with multiple experts and it all came to this…. More micro-weddings meaning it will be fewer guests and lower budget, outside events with limited duration, and social distancing.   Some are sending their guests Covid19 waiver forms to sign that they are aware of the risks of their participation.  Couples are evaluating how they want to manage the processional or recessional and how they will position the wedding party at the altar. Many are opting to be seated alone or have a sweetheart table at the reception.  It is also expected that the resorts will continue to adhere to all the protocols to reduce risks.
Late spring, summer weddings are more doable provided that the vaccines hit the general population.  So, what does this mean for those whose weddings are scheduled for May or June?  Couples need to weigh the number of guest and weather.  If we are looking forward to fall weddings, experts are predicting that we are probably past most of the outbreak.
One thing for sure is, do not stress if you opt to postpone... if that is what you choose to do.
